What's included

Four cheap monitoring layers.
One bill. Or no bill.

Most uptime services treat SSL, DNS, status pages, and consensus checks as paid add-ons. We treat them like table stakes.

$8/mo elsewhere

SSL renewal alerts

Get notified 30, 14, 7, and 1 day before any certificate expires. Mixed-content and chain validation included.

Included on free
Pro plan only

DNS drift monitoring

We baseline your A, AAAA, MX, NS, CNAME, and TXT records and alert the moment anything changes, intentional or not.

$29/mo

Public status page

One hosted status page on the free tier. Unlimited on Starter. Custom domain on Scale. Subscriber emails included.

Paid tier only

Commercial use

Use the free tier for client work, side projects, or internal tools. We do not gate that, only check volume.

The dashboard

One pane. Four signals.

HTTP uptime, SSL freshness, DNS drift, and status-page subscriber health, all in one place, with the same alerting routes.

The pitch, briefly

No AI. No "intelligent insights."
You pay for checks, not buzzwords.

Uptime monitoring is a solved problem. It needs to be cheap, fast, multi-region, and quiet until something is wrong. We don't have an ML team. We have a probe fleet.

$ uptimepad probe api.acme.io
> US-East 200 OK 81ms
> EU-West 200 OK 94ms

> AU-East 200 OK 188ms

> DNS match 12/12 records on baseline

Pricing

Four tiers. Fixed prices.
No "contact us."

You pay for checks, not buzzwords. No surprise re-pricing, no legacy plan migrations, no AI add-ons.

FAQ

Reasonable questions, short answers.

Is the free tier really free? Forever?

Yes. 50 monitors, 5-minute checks, one region, email alerts, SSL renewal, DNS drift, one public status page. No card asked at sign-up. No trial timer.

What's the catch with no AI features?

There isn't one. We think anomaly-detection on HTTP 200s is a cute demo, not a product. You get raw signals and configurable thresholds. If you want ML, ship it to your alerts webhook yourself.

Can I use the free tier commercially?

Yes, including for client work and internal tools. We don't gate commercial use behind a plan, only check volume and feature depth.

How is this different from UptimeRobot?

SSL alerts, DNS drift, and status pages are free here and paid there. Pricing is per-plan and fixed; we don't quietly migrate accounts to new pricing. And we cap the feature list at four monitoring layers instead of forty.

Do you offer global consensus checks?

On Scale: a downtime alert is only emitted when 2 of 4 regions (US, EU, Asia, Australia) agree. Pro gets 3 regions. Starter gets 2. Free gets 1.

Can I self-host?

Not yet. The probe fleet is the product. If you need an on-prem proof-of-concept for procurement, use the support path in the docs.
